Honoring Our Future Foxes on April 17: Dixie Youth & Dixie Angels State Champions


On April 17, the Southeastern Baseball Classic will be honoring two 2018 state champions at The Jimmy.  The 2018 Hartsville Area Recreation Department Dixie Angels All Stars and the 2018 Hartsville National O-Zone All Stars will be recognized for their accomplishments last summer.  Both teams were state champions and competed in their respective World Series tournaments.

In addition to honoring these two World Series teams, any youth baseball player wearing their jersey will be given free admission to the SBC games on April 17.

Members of the Dixie Angels All Stars are: Myah Harvey, Allie Bailey, Sydnie Matthews, Lily Beasley, Carter Shumate, Imari Rivers, Maddie Oliver, Anna Claire Weatherford, Savanna Wallace, Kendra Chestnut, Emmakate Hudson and Kyleigh Hopkins.

Members of the Hartsville National Dixie Youth O-Zone All Stars are:  Ace Gibson, Grayson "Weezy" Weekley, McKendrie Douglas, Andrew Askins, Drew Andrews, Dewsy Meadows, Nate Harry, Treion McFarland, Dawson McKimmey, Evan "Turfy" Young, Quez Hadley and, Hartsvillian turned Texan, Cole Winburn.

The teams will be honored prior to the start of Hartsville's game at 6:15pm.

Jimmy White Park at Kelleytown Stadium, aka The Jimmy, in Hartsville, SC is the host site for the annual Southeastern Baseball Classic.  The mission of the Southeastern Baseball Classic to promote the game of baseball, to enhance the lives of athletes through competition and scholarship, and to involve the community by assembling sportsmen in tournament play.
