The Week That Was in Red Fox Baseball...

During the past week, the Red Foxes picked up a pair of double-digit wins over Darlington and West Florence.  Both games were part of the Pee Dee Invitational.

On Friday in Kelleytown, Sophomores Brendan Lee and Harrison Moore combined to no-hit the Falcons in a 10-0 win.  Tate Hawkins had 2 hits and 2 rubies for the Foxes.  Junior A'Shani McFarland drove in a pair of runs and stole two bases.  Sophomore Cam Cannarella spent time at third on defense and offense; the third baseman hit a triple in his first at-bat.

On Saturday, the Foxes dismantled West Florence, 12-2, behind an outstanding performance by Owen Taylor on the bump.  Taylor struck out 7 in 4 innings of work.  Junior Daryian Pendergrass and Cannarella had 3 hits apiece in the lopsided win.

In JV action, the Red Foxes picked up two wins in the Pee Dee Invitational on Friday, February 28.  The first win came against Marlboro County, 15-0.

In their second game, the Red Foxes kept their offense rolling and their defense stayed stingy as they defeated Wilson, 11-0,
